1743LOft - My name is Ignazio, I am an architect, and over the years I have specialized in the renovation of the building heritage of my historic center, Ortigia. In a building dating back to 1743, these apartments were born, in the spaces that once housed an ancient printing house. I renovated these spaces with respect for the preservation of the original structure, but in a modern way and without losing sight of comfort. My partner Vera and I, both lovers of travel and discovery, manage these apartments together, appreciating how this brings us into constant contact with people from around the world. Our goal is to be able to host the same people multiple times: to see them return to Ortigia and choose to stay once again at 1743LOft...! It has already happened, and we hope it will happen again!
Our LOfts are located in the heart of Ortigia, in a charming building from 1743. It originally was a historic printing house; the recent renovation by Ignazio, architect as well as host, led to the creation of three apartments. The possibility of making them communicating allows you to book them either individually or in pairs or in blocks, giving us the flexibility to accommodate groups up to 11 people in only one, big LOft
